I disagree about going down in color. Ovals show more color.

Add a micro pave halo to match the band, or you could add side stones.nibsaw a really beautiful oval ring with half moon stones on either side and combined with the center stone it looked very large. look on Pinterest there’s so many beuatiful oval ring settings there for inspiration. I have an5.5 size finger and I would probably do atleast a 1.6 center oval but that’s just my taste I like larger stones

The 1.3ct sounds like it will be great.

FWIW, I tried on a 1ct oval in a halo setting at Costco and I thought it looked perfect on my size 6 finger. Sorry I don’t have a picture – the Costco employer would not let me take one.

I have a 1.3ct oval, G color and it shows more warmth than I’d want it to in some lighting. You could drop from E, but just be aware that ovals hold/show a lot more color and won’t always look like it does in jewelry store lighting.
