I love that ring!!

This isn’t a diamond, but hopefully will help. It’s a 9×7 sapphire, which would be 2-carats for diamond. It does have a halo. It’s a size 5, although will actually need to be sized up probably a half size due to my bony knuckles.

Hi!! Mine’s 0.9 carats and i have big hands (size 8). For reference the diamond’s dimensions are roughly 8mm x 5.5mm

I’m a size 6 and went with a 1.5ct centre stone with pave in rose gold! We went with primo 3 C’s instead of a bigger centre stone.

fiancetobee :  So I know you said you do not want a halo, mine has one. But I figured I would post anyway. I am a figner size 5.5, though I have to say soemtimes my ring feels a little loose so it swinfg around my finger.

My center stone is a .80ct and with the halo it is a total 1ct. I love the amount of finger coverage I have, because I think too much more would be way to large!

Also want to note to you I cant tell you how many sweaters I have ruined with this thing gett caught on them! So be careful high settings, mine has a catherdral setting so a bit higher than normal. However, I feel in love with it so I jsut swing my ring around the wrong way when putting on jackets and sweaters now!

Hi bee! So my ring is a sapphire, but it’s oval and I have a size 6 finger so hopefully it’ll help you visualize size a bit more.

I’m not sure of carat size, but my oval is 7mmx5mm. Honestly I’ve found that for me personally, with ovals the actual dimensions are really helpful, since ovals of the same carat size can vary in dims. For what it’s worth, I’ve read it it seems 7x5mm is usually 1ct in sapphires and .75 ct in diamonds. But I don’t know much about carat size so that was just a quick Google search lol.

Sorry for the sideways pics, they always do that to me and I have no idea how to make them not sideways.

Here are some photos from when I was shopping. I tried on a lot of different stones in an oval shape to get an idea of what I liked size-wise. This is a 9×7 morganite which I believe is between 1.75 and 2 carat diamond. I am a size 6 and I thought it had a really nice coverage- it’s next to the ring my now husband bought last minute to propose while we were in Europe and it’s a 9×9 CZ so about 2.75 to 3 carat diamond and it kind of makes the oval look smaller than if it were not there so try not to pay it any mind, these are the only photos I have.

This is an 8×6 moissy, at size 5.5.  Should help a bit, even though it’s not diamond.

Mine is a 1.5 carat oval and I’m a size 8!! I think at size 6, 1.5c should be perfect for you
