My e-ring will be an oval halo from MoissyCo! I love that ring because I love higher set rings that you can sit a straight band flush against.

How much are they charging you to make it oval, if you don’t mind me asking?

I’ve been eyeing this one (eng256b):

paigerino :  Oooh man, I may need to tell the BF about that. He already has the link for the one I want saved. He didn’t know Moissanite existed before he met me, and he’s thrilled that he only “has” to spend less than $2k for my dream ring.

And just because I love it… the eng256b. 2.25ct. Courtesy of MoissyCo’s IG page: https://www.instagram.com/p/BXd96brhFkY/?taken-by=moissaniteco

I may or may not have it bookmarked.

paigerino :  Thank you!! The bf says it looks even better in person so I can’t wait to see it. You’ll have to post pictures of your ring when you get it!

paigerino :  You know it! Lol. They actually come in a lot of purple variations; they even have blue tanzanites as well. A true tanzanite can be 3 different colors of purple and blue depending on the light which I always thought was so interesting.  A diamond was out of our budget and also I’m not very traditional, mixed with the fact that purple is my favorite color we ended up finding Tanz which I had never heard until a few months ago either.

The hardness is where it gets tricky lol. It’s only a 6.5 and it’s suitable for an engagement ring but you have to pretty much expect to replace it at some point. Luckily they’re affordable. I’m planning on being careful and getting it insured. I asked other bees how theirs held up and it seems fine! Sorry this was so long
