My orignial Ering was a 1.09ct E SI1 GIA stone measuring ALMOST 8x6mm.  My new ring is a vintage cushion .89 K VS1 GIA stone measuring 6.20×5.46mm but halo diamonds are .07ct each, so it spreads much larger.  I wanted a solitaire for my first ring because the oval was very large looking, I am a size 4.75 finger.

@Lily-Grace202:  Mine is a sapphire with diamond halo. It is 1.5 carats. I have size 5.75 fingers. I don’t know any of the other answers, haha!

I love my oval halo!!  I don’t know the all of the specs of it off-hand but I know it’s roughly 2.25 carats and my finger is a 4.75, ring is a 5.

HI!  I just got my oval halo last saturday and I love it!  i’m a size 5.25 but the ring is now at a 5.75, H, VS2, 2.05 center diamond and .56 in the setting.  Hope that helps!

Edit:  That picture was huge!!  I’ve resized it!

I’m not going to be much help since I do not yet have a photo, but I just bought an oval aquamarine ring.  It’s rainy out here and every photo I have taken so far is just awful.  My finger is a size 5.75, and the oval is 7mm x 5mm, which I think translates to 1 carat.  Then there are .5ct in round diamonds around the oval and down the band.  It basically looks like the stock photo below but with an aquamarine instead of a diamond in the center.

This is an old thread but in case any new bees are reading….here is mine Oval. (Not a Halo)  1.25 Oval 8.63mm x 6.23mm. G colour, VSI. 1/3 carat diamonds on band.  ***Be cautious when choosing colour grade in ovals.  Originally purchased a J diamond which looked great in sunlight and under store halogen light…but tint very noticebale in indirect indoor light.  Apparently a common issue in Princess cuts and Ovals, but NOT noticeable in round brilliants.  I sent it back and replaced with G colour.  SO MUCH better! (Original diamond 1.51 carat 9.19mmx6.50mm J colour VS2) I would choose a smaller carat for better colour in an Oval.  Original diamond on left, replacement diamond on right. In the end, only 1/2mm difference in size.
