Dear Weddingbees,
I live in Germany and will never get to see a Moissanite before I need to purchase one for my ring. I also have read all the threads on moissy in this forum. So first I was dead set on a F1 Oval C&C. But after stalking several instagram and youtube videos I decided it was too rainbowy/fiery for me. The Harro crushed ice always seemed too cloudy and plasticky to me. But after some more research I decided that it maybe was the better route (it’s also 1000$ cheaper!). But then there are all these other Moissanite Companies (Zaya, Yasamine, NEO, Amora Gem) so at this point I would be so thankful for any personal experiences/advice on oval moissys and their properties.
I know one woman in this forum is still very happy with her oval harro gem another one sold hers after first being very happy. Does anybody else have some advice or experience with harro gems or an another oval Moissy brand?
I will order a stone from a company and let it be sent right to the Jeweller to make me a handforged ring – so it should be right the first time!
Thnak you so much for your help!

I know there are so many choices!! I purchased my stone from Yasamine Co., because I loved their crushed ice cut, and they were willing to custom cut to any size. I am beyond happy and the stone is amazingggg.
I know they have a program where you can view a stone in person before you buy, maybe you can try that?

Hello neighbour! Im in Zurich so I basically blindly bought a ring too. This one is a crushed ice oval from StarsGem, a factory in China. They did the whole ring but their usual business is loose stones.
The bowtie is actually pretty nonexistent in real life, not sure why it shows up so much on my phone camera. I took it to a local goldschmiede to check on the prongs and everything and he was surprised when I told him it wasn’t a diamond. He had been poking and tapping on it with some tweezers for a minute or so before that.
If you’re passing by Zurich anytime soon, I’d be happy to let you meet my ring!

It’s snowing right now so I couldn’t resist taking some videos out on my balcony (excuse the mess and the sound of traffic). The lighting is pretty gloomy today but theres still some sparkle!
DrAtkins : thank you so much!!
