cadillacbesos:  your ring is soo pretty!! Is the whole ring moissy or are the side stones diamonds? I’ve never seen a oval moissy look so white, it’s gorgeous!

I’m biased, but I vote oval!

BeautifulCajun93:  thanks! It’s 2 carats, F color, SI2. The setting is another half carat.

I would choose an oval.  I don’t like the sharp point on marquis cut stones.

cadillacbesos:  I am about to get an oval Moissy! Can you give me some more information about yours? Is it in a diamond halo? Do you notice any warmth on a regular basis?

Idk why my picture won’t flip but I have an oval halo – 1.2 carats, internally flawless, H color, very good cut – its from Bluenile if that helps!

mrssloan2013:  Thank you so much 😀 the halo and the center stone are completely moissy.

mrskirk  it’s from moissaniteco 😀 I believe the exact one is eng481b. 8x6mm center stone plus the halo. According to their chart, that’s about a 1.5 carat. the halo is moissy as well. I have had my ring for about two weeks now, and I noticed warmth on ONE cloudy Los Angeles day. It’s sparkly and white most of the time. I think if I had gotten the 1 carat, it would have been even more so. Or, at least that’s what I’ve read from other Moissy Bees.

BeautifulCajun93:  ^^ see above. Thank you so much.I LOVE my ring so much, but I think I could have gone with the 1 carat equivalent and been happy as well.

Here’s one more pic. I was driving and my ring kept distracting me–not the clearest but I loved the rainbow reflection it was giving:

I really like oval but I have a soft spot for marquise cut / shape
