natalievel :  Oops, sorry I forgot to include my ring size! I’m  a 6.25!

We LOVED James Allen. My fiancé couldn’t find the style of ring he liked in any local stores and was so happy when he found JA. He was also really picky about diamond quality and found that local stores didn’t have a very good diamond selection with the specs he wanted. James Allen has such a huge selection of diamonds and their customer service is amazing. He asked them like a million questions and they were super helpful and not pushy. Apparently he actually ordered a ring with a smaller diamond at first, and then 3 days later decided that he wanted to go with a bigger diamond. So he cancelled his original order and placed a new one and said it was the easiest process! The ring came in 2 weeks later. ๐Ÿ™‚

We were really impressed with the packaging. It comes in a really nice box and they send the GIA certificate as well as an appraisal and all the information on your ring. They’re so thorough, it’s amazing. We’re buying my wedding band(s) from them too and I’ve asked about 49 questions to their customer service people and they are so easy to work with. Also, they offer 10% off on your wedding band order if you buy your engagement ring through them. ๐Ÿ™‚

They also run a holiday/Black Friday deal for 25% off the entire site, so you may want to consider ordering at the end of November! ๐Ÿ™‚ My fiancé ordered my ring in May, and I think they were running another annual sale at that time for Mother’s Day, but I’m not sure what percentage off everything was. They run deals a few times a year!

I’m happy to answer any other questions you have (or ask my fiancé lol)! We were so happy with JA and could not recommend them enough. Congratulations on your almost-engagement!

natalievel :  you have good taste :). Ovals are so elegant and classy!

Mine is a pave setting, but it’s in a halo- center stone is a 7x5mm moissanite, which faces up about .9 carats if it were a diamond. Size 6.5.

Yay I can finally play, received my ring on Sunday!  1.6 ct, I color, with sapphire and diamond pave.  Ring size is 8.5, combined with very small hands so I knew I wanted an oval to elongate the look of my fingers.

Mine’s around 1.8ct, size 4.5. We didn’t go ring shopping but I told him I preferred a solitaire round or oval cut with a simple, thin band. The pave diamonds were his idea and I’m so glad he chose it!
