Im upgrading to a larger moissanite stone (one carat because my fingers are small). I just can’t decide whether I like ovals or emeralds more. I know I want a solitaire, but I want something classy. and timeless. Share pics of your ovals or emeralds if you’d like!

I love the shape of ovals but not the cut (sorry ovals!) however, I love everything about emeralds! I held a poll last week re: emeralds vs oec — and the emerald won. (But I’m going oec anyway because I know I’ll miss having one). I think the emerald cut is more expensive though…

Yes emerald is slightly more but I love that mirrored look!

I have both, the oval is my e-ring. Ovals sparkle more than ECs, but ECs are more glamorous.
It’s really about what you want to look at. You can’t go wrong with either cut:-)

Both are great! I feel like emerald cuts have a slimming effect on some fingers. Try both! You will know when you see it on your finger!

I have an oval but I love emerald cuts as well. And if timeless is what your after, I think I’d have to say the emerald cut looks a bit more timeless to me.

I had a hard time choosing between ovals and emeralds because I love them both, but I ultimately ended up choosing an emerald. I am soooo happy with it! Here’s my 1.01 H VS2 diamond:

Emerald for sure. But I am biased. I am having an emerald cut ring made at the moment!

I would say emerald would be more timeless, but I prefer oval. I like the sparkle and facets of the oval, as the emerald seems less sparkly and shiny.
