@luvmyDwight:  That sounds like an Awesome way to start the day.  Hoping this is your lucky month.  Now BD, every other day for the next 4-5 days.  Want lots of swimmers ready to attack the egg.

I’ll have to ask my sis.  My nephew loves dogs.

@luvmyDwight:  OB gave you wrong info.  Your first OPK is telling you that you are surging.  Usually you’ll get 2 days of surging.  And on the 3rd day, the egg should release and begin its journey through the tubes.   And that will take an additional 3 days to reach the uterus so that’s why they want you to BD during your first surge so you can have tons of spermies ready.

They suggest you should BD every other day because of the sperm production but I understand about being a newlywed.  I would start BDing a couple of days before I knew I would get a surge so we could do every other day.  Then the last day of my surge I would plan to do a BD session that night and then the morning.  Too bad I had uterine issues cause my method should’ve resulted in a BFP:)

Hi, Girls

I got really upset yesterday… I was so sad I went to bed at 9:00 pm and slept until 8:00 am today… Maybe my new personal record…

I tape the Tody show sometimes a week when I don’t have time to see the news in the morning before work. Well yesterday when i got home I saw they had a segment on fertility…

Needless to say it got me really down…

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/3041426/ns/today-today_health/#47429485

Fiance got home after I had watched it and saw i was down… I showed it to him and he kind understood all my fears… Before he was all the time saying : so and so had a baby and she was 45 (always an actress or famous person)…

If I had known all this before I would have frozen my eggs when I was 30…

@foreign- unfortunately they didn’t have the technology back then to freeze just eggs. And the dirty little secret is that most celebrity older moms used donor eggs. But don’t despair just yet. But be prepared for a lot of work. Run, don’t walk and get Infertility Cure. Follow her steps to give you the best chance whether natural or with medical help.

Good luck

@foreignbride:  Don’t despair.  Women for centries have been having children in their 40’s w/out today’s medical advances.  And like @mmsva said, many older actresses use DE.  Its a known secret in Hollywood.

Infertility Cure is a great book and check out Naturally Knocked Up.

@luvmyDwight:  Not this month.  My RE has given the green light to do an IUI in June.  Pretty excited because its been 9 months of surgeries and recovery.  Considering age is our only isdue now, praying IUI will do the trick.

@luvmyDwight:  No testing for me this month. OB wants me to take this month off after the MC and start trying after my the next AF. So this month we will be NTNT, but with the stress of a new (filthy) house and moving, I don’t think we will get that lucky. How’s yout TWW going? I could always stay strong the first week, then by day 10 I was a basket case–can you hear the preg tests talking to you too? “Use me…I’m right over here…it would be so easy…” Drove me insane. I would usually cave by day 10 and POAS even though I know there was a slim possibility for a BFP.

@Audreysdance:  Thanks.  I’m excited that we are finally going forward.:)

This wkend was DH’s bday so we went to a Brazilian steakhouse.  I’m still in a meat coma.  It was soo good.  And I have no regrets drinking 2 glasses of wine and their lava cake.  I can’t wait for our next date night:)

Hi everyone.  I found this link on a wedding bee site and love to jump in!.  A little about me.  I am going to be 40 at the end of this month.  I have 3 children from a previous marriage and my Fiance has none.  We are getting married at the end of june and have been ttc for a little over a year.  I have PCOS so it makes TTC a little harder.  I am on cd5 and took my first clomid pill today(my third cycle on 100mg) and am on metaformin.  I am going to the RE on the 21st day to see if I am ovualating now.  wanted to say hi to everyone and good luck on their journies to TTC
