No experience with bleach– sorry– but I know I’ve damaged my hair with heat before.  The curls were completely gone from that one small section and there was nothing I could do except for wait for it to grow out.  I just trimmed it every few weeks till the straight section was gone.

You killed it, sorry. I do believe you have to wait for it to grow out.

As a stylist, I reccomend a cut, and a deep conditioning treament. If you can find a salon that carries Awapuhi by Paul Mitchell, they have a great conditioning treatment that will help restore the protein your hair has lost. I hope this helps! 🙂

Yep. All you can do it grow it out and use regular deep conditioner. I used to bleach my hair to dye it weird colors and I fried it pretty good one time. Not much you can do at that point.

Chop it! I have chin length hair at the moment after getting rid of my waist-length mop post-wedding.

I have a good remedy.. i have bleached hair and I am a stylist.

Get the bain de force shampoo, masque architecte, ciment thermique to put in before blow dry, and fibre architecte to use with a curling iron or flat iron. After using these products, you will see your waves becoming healthier and healthier when drying naturally. I’d flat iron your hair with the fibre architecte for the first few washings. Make sure you use the ciment thermique before blowdrying though. Your hair wont feel like straw any longer and your texture will be much smoother when you let your hair dry naturally. It’s expensive, but it works and you must strengthen your hair when you are bleaching it. Over the counter products just wont cut it. I’ve been using this line for years and i have really long, bleach blonde hair, very minimal breakage.. every blonde will have some type of breakage somewhere. It’s soft, healthier, and stronger.

I cannot stress this product enough. Especially if you want it wedding ready.
