I don’t mind all of the stuff except the stupid comments I have to hear. My coworkers keep asking me why I’m even bothering to get married (because it’s going to end in divorce anyway), if I’m quitting after we’re married (uh…no?), and how long I’m going to be gone for the honeymoon. I’ve answered these and they just don’t listen. I really hate telling people that we aren’t going on a honeymoon because we can’t afford one.

@CaliBeeBride0813:  Haha ikr? My life isn’t the wedding. Three months to go and everything is almost completely done, we’re just paying for the rest. Wedding planning is going the same that it was the last time you asked.

At this point I do wish we were just done with everything and getting married tomorrow, but lately I have been too busy with work/house stuff/wedding to be excited or even not excited about anything! X_X

I’m so over it. I spent all night tying bows so that we can send out the damn invites, and right now I just don’t want to bother with anything else. I just want to skip the next 2 months and have it be here.

@lotto:  Ha, I gave up on the twine I was going to use for the invites. I tried to do it on one, it took too long, and I was like, “Fuck it, no one cares.”

We can buy house nao?

@vorpalette:  Absolutely the right call! It made a bump in the envelope that cost an extra 20 cents each and it was a pain in the ass to do.

Over it too. If I got a dollar for every time I got asked “how is the wedding planning going?” We’d have the whole thing paid for already. I’m noticing that I am running out of patience.

I made return address labels and pre-stamped the rsvp envelopes… but I put the return address label in the wrong spot! My friend notified me of this and I wanted to bite her head off. 😛

Hah! I’m also ready for the honeymoon. I’ve been feeling so stressed out lately, and it isn’t helping that I’m the only one running around and responsibilities keep mounting. Someone mentioned the other day that they were going on vacation to the beach for a few days, and that they needed it. I replied, “A vacation sounds nice! I need a vacation! … But then, I guess that’s why we’re spending so much money on a honeymoon, huh?”

At this point, I’m like, “I don’t care! Throw down some chairs, we got the officiant and the rings. I’M GOOD.”

@sherryberry:  I forgot I had stickers for the return address on the outside of the envelopes until five invites in. “Welp, these are going to our immediate family who don’t care as much! I’m not doing these over!!”

If I have to hear “congratulations” or “how’s wedding planning going?” one more time I really think I might scream. I’ve been planning for a while, so I feel like I’m wayyyyy over it. Our original wedding was for February 1, 2013 we had to postpone and so I’ve been planning our wedding for August now. It’s been a full year of planning and I just can’t wait to marry my best friend. I am someone who needs to stay busy though. As much as I can’t wait for it to be over, after its all done and said for I’m sure I’ll be looking for another project to keep me busy.

I feel like I should have some sort of drama to report when people at work ask. The reality is too boring.

OTOH, FI is all excited to sort out the three playlists–iPod, my Dad on guitar, and his brother on guitar.  Our iPod playlist is all the bands we’ve seen live and unfortunately that includes Slayer.  Sigh.

@sherryberry:  I feel the same way! We could pay for a honeymoom with as many times as I’m asked how the planning is going. I keep thinking I have more going on in my life than just planning a wedding. And then take a look at my life and sadly, at this point I really don’t. All of my free time is taken up with something wedding related.

@jsanford:  I’m in the same boat. It seems they don’t like to hear that everything is going smoothly, and everyone is getting along, and the bridesmaids want to help.

Im kind of on the opposite end  few friends have just started asking how the wedding plans are come. However the family are still saying oh you dont need to be sorting out certain bits as its still so far away.

when I ran my dad  a week ago to tell him some important date/times info as I thought he would need to know for work. His answer was’why are you telling me this now your wedding party is months away?’ urm yes it was just over 2 months, now its less then 2 months and yet no interest or hows it going from any famliy at all. I dont wish to be a bridzilall and I know we are doing a tiny wedding with a  big after honeynoom party so things are a bit odd but its still our wedding and im ecited about it being so close. 🙂

sorry my mind ran on a little but Im not over it… but I did make my soon to be husband 🙂 do the 90 hand written invites.
