Are you sure they are 60″ wide? Most banquet tables are 30″ wide. Are you putting two together ?

Remember the Pythagorean theory of Right angle triangles?  a2 + b2 = c2

In this case  c is the measurement from the point in the middle of the front of the table to the point in the middle of the back of the table . That would be  60″ plus twice the length  you want it to hang down. If you choose a drop of 24″, then c is 60+24+24=108.

c2 would be 108×108= 11,664

a and b being equal,  a2 and  b2 would each be 5832

a and b would be 76″.

You would then need a cloth that is at least 76″ square. It would not stetch end to end on the top of the table.

If you want the cloth to come all the way down to the floor in the front, you would need an cloth that was 84″ square. It still would not cover the top of the table end to end.

Aren’t you glad I was good at math?

Or, you could find a table online

SQ Point
To Point
Measurement

54×54 = 76.4
60×60 = 84.9
70×70 = 99.1
72×72 = 101.8
82×82 = 115.9
84×84 = 118.8
86×86 = 121.0
90×90 = 127.3
