#1 thing I’d look at is your diet. Are you eating unhealthy? That will exacerbate acne within a few days, but within about a week of healthy eating your skin should start glowing.

#2 is stress, which I’m guessing your wedding and life is causing! Stress always makes me break out, so try to spend more time relaxing. 

#3 make sure you’re washing your face twice a day. I love the Clinique 3 step system, and because I have sensitive skin, I swap out the cleanser (step 1) once a day every other day with Clean and Clear Acne Scrub.

Also helps to drink more water. Cleanse from the inside too!

I use a benzoyl peroxide cream and it works well. You could also try a salycylic spot cream. I’ve also heard that using an anti aging cream with retinol helps acne. I would just like to point out that a good diet and water do not really do a lot when it comes to certain kinds of acne (like mine!). It requires addtl treatment.
