I would suggest some Gravol

Dramamine (same medication as Gravol, but what they call it in the states).  I get motion sickness so have to take Gravol anyway, and usually pass out for several hours.

If I need to fall asleep without feeling crappy when I wake up, I use Dream Water.

I would not recommend dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) as a sleeping medication.  It has more adverse effects (lasting drowsiness, “hangover-like” side effects) than diphenhydramine (Benadryl), which is the only over the counter drug that is FDA approved to help you sleep.

Melatonin. Your brain releases it naturally at night, works really well!! No side effects for me

I swear by benadryl to put me to sleep and Melatonin to keep me asleep.

@mstellah:  FYI Nyquil ZZZZZ is just benadryl with a fancy name and higher price. I got suckered until I read the active ingredient, now am spreading the word. 🙂

Benadryl. And sometime melatonin. All others make me a grumpy, groggy mess.
