Poor baby. Sorry for your loss. I had four cats growing up and two of them were lost to getting out of the house (we never found them). It’s heartbreaking.

whytneynicole :  Oh this breaks my heart so much for you. I unfortunately had the same thing happen to me about two years ago. My cat was also a black cat and I had raised him up from a small kitten. He was five years old when he passed and I still come home and cry about it every now and then. I think the void of him not following me around everywhere was the hardest thing to let go of, but even more so, I still cannot forgive myself for what happened. He was my baby, the best cat I ever had, but I know one day I’ll get to see him again. Please DM me if you just want to vent. 

Time heals, I promise. Gosh I am tearing up typing this.

I’m so sorry, Bee.  My childhood cat was black like yours, he died when I was away at college and I was so upset because I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Make sure to give Sasha lots of hugs and snuggles.
