I am an overly emotional person. Reading wedding stories, watching wedding shows, baby shows, anything makes me emotional and often times I end up crying. I guess I just love seeing people happy and in love.
I am worried that when the time comes for my wedding ceremony that I am going to be a big blubbering mess. But I am wondering if it will be different for me because it will be MY wedding.
Any fellow emotional bees have insights?

We did a first look, which cut the stress by like 1000%. I was actually smiling like a fool when I walked down the aisle.

@4littlekitties: that’s a really good idea! don’t know if my SO will be into it, but definitely a good option.

I have no idea. Honestly, I’m just hoping the excitement will overshadow the happiness and I’ll be smiling like a fool instead of crying.

@highschoolhoneys: Like the PP, we also did a first look. Initially, Darling Husband didn’t like the idea, but after talking about, he actually preferred it. It helped more than words can describe.
That aside, I actually wasn’t an emotional wreck on my wedding day. I cried a little walking down the aisle, I cried pretty hard during our hand ceremony, and I bawled through our entire first dance, and that was it. It was a little odd because like you, I ALWAYS cried even thinking about our wedding.
