My engagement ring didn’t come from overstock, but I’ve bought myself two rings from there in the past and my fiance has bought me a ring from there and I LOVE them all!  They were at a huge discount and they were all lovely!  Don’t have pictures though sorry.  Good luck!!  That’s awful all your jewelry went missing!

Me!!!! We bought my ring from overstock. I love it. The only problem i had with it was my center stone got a small crack after I had i for about a year but my Renters insurance covered the entire cost of it. I have gone a few times to get i cleaned and they always say its in great shape and they think i paid MUCH more than we paid for it. And of course pictures of my lovely!

OP, have you looked at Sam’s Club or Wal-Mart?  They have affordable rings as well.

My engagement ring came from overstock, because at the time we had 3 mortgages between us. Mine isn’t a typical engagement ring though, I wanted sapphires. 🙂 The ring has held up well to me wearing it everyday for 3 years now.

The photo shows both the engagement ring and our wedding bands (we spent much more on the wedding bands than the engagement ring, and I kinda like that).

Mine did…and I love it! But I will say, while i’m VERY happy with my e-ring, my husband ordered another ring from them for Christmas and the whole experience was TERRIBLE.  Not one but TWO rings got lost in the mail because they sent out BOTH packages with the incorrect address on it!  It bothers me that the company didn’t even bother to check the address even the 2nd time they sent it out.  It was ordered 2 weeks before Christmas, finally showed up mid-January and ONLY because we caught the mail person – it had NO apt. # on it and she was getting ready to send it back to Overstock AGAIN.  Also, we discovered that the ring was teenytiny and looked like something out of a gumball machine… so disappointment again.  I would suggest knowing what carat sizes/stone shapes look good on your hand so you’ll know what you’re getting 🙂  That said, we bought my ring for around $600…i got curious and googled my ring and found it retailing for as much as $1200 at other jewelers!

ACK just posted in the wrong thread hahah! ETA to add that I’ve had a few friends get both e-rings and wedding bands from Overstock, and they’ve had great success! Some gorgeous rings and the quality’s been great 🙂

I’ve had very good luck with Overstock jewelry in the past.  The key is to know your size and what carat you’re looking for, because it’s hard to tell from pictures sometimes.  I wouldn’t touch Walmart, simply because they overcharge for the quality of items they sell.

I have received jewelery from pawn shops, which were probably a great price, but the diamonds were not high quality…visible inclusions, not great clarity. Another issue was with not having the possibility to have a Protection Plan as the chains offer. My engagement ring comes from Peoples/Zales, where you can pay for a plan that replaces any lost stones, resizes for free, solders, cleans, retips the prongs. Basically, all the required maintenance on a ring you wear everyday is included in a one-time purchase of a protection plan (which was at a very reasonable cost).

    Something to think about!!

I got my ring and wedding band from there. I paid $700 for the engagment ring and about $300 for my wedding band.

I absolutely love both of them! I did have a diamond on the side fall out, but it was replaced a while ago and no problems since.

@atlshawt0515:  If you happen to still have it, do you mind sharing the item # or specs/description or anything? I love your wedding band!

I originally found the ring I wanted on overstock. It’s the one he proposed with. I loved it. A few weeks later, a diamond came out. No biggie, we’ll get them to fix it. A few days later, another fell out. Not good. They said we could send back and get fixed. But I was extremely nervous about the construction and the fact we had to send it off to get fixed. We sent it back, got a full refund, and bought from a local jeweler and got a lifetime warranty. I personally value something that will last over something that looks nice for a little while.

I love overstock for everything else and have bought many items over the last few years – but would NEVER buy jewelry from them again.

This is my O.co ring. I love my ring it’s very sturdy and I love the trellis setting. However only order from O.co if you have a lot of time. Shipping is very cheap but it took 5 weeks for my ring to get here and you can’t upgrade to faster shipping.
