I don’t have a lot of advice to offer, but I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother.  I’m thinking of you and sending e-hugs.

I’m so sorry.  I wish there was something I could say to make it better.  I worked as a hospice nurse about 10 years ago and hope that she can be comfortable and pain free from now on.   The hospice staff should be very highly trained to help you all during this, and please don’t hesitate to reach out and to find someone you can talk to.

When things get to tough sweetie, as in going dress shopping just remember how sad she would be to see you sad. Maybe this will help? (((BIG HUGS)))

I’m so sorry. My grandmother and grandfather who raised me have both passed away in the last 3 years. They were the 2 most important people in my life. I wouldn’t have had a wedding the same year that it happened so if you think that you will need some time to grieve you can always postpone your wedding. ::hugs::

I’m so sorry… my grandmother passed away less than two years ago, but it feels like it was yesterday, so I know how you feel.  *hugs*

I’m so sorry to hear that. (((hug))) I’m going through the exact same thing right now–my Gram was put on hospice care on Friday of last week.  Please feel free to PM me if you want to chat further.

I’m still thinking of you.   I really miss my grandmother and I often will think about her and what she would want to see me do when things are tough.   Go shopping, think of her and what you think she would say about the dresses.    Allow yourself to grieve too, it’s normal and will help you get through it.    Cry, be mad, and allow yourself to feel all of those emotions.   I found it so hard to allow myself to feel all of those things and felt like I had to be strong for everyone else.

Will you be able to see her in hospice?

I’m so sorry destiny.  It is always so difficult when you know that you’ll be losing someone that means so much to you.  Be sure to spend as much time with your   G-ma as you can and tell her how much you love her.  May God strengthen you!  Hugs!
