Hubby and I have recently decided to start TTC first cycle in October. I’ve been off BC for about one week now. I downloaded the ovia app and started logging my data. But I’d like to know if anyone else uses this app? How accurate do you think it is in predicting your fertile times? We are taking a more relaxed approach at TTC and decided not to use opks, temp etc. Just going to use this app first and see what happens but I’d like to know if the app has been successful for anyone getting their BFP!

For me, personally, it matched up well with my period, OKPs, temping, and checking my cervical fluid. I got pregnant on my first cycle, so I don’t know how accurate it is long term.

I used Ovia and Fertility Friend. After 8-10 cycles, I just got my bfp. I liked ovia because I liked all of the things it tracks, and I liked the little informative tidbits. But it never seemed quite right when predicting my cycles. I temped and entered the data into both apps and then I’d adjust my cycles in ovia to match FF. Combining the two apps worked really well for me but was probably overkill. 😂

Ovia is my personal favorite. It’s really spot on. It took several cycles to get the data down and I downloaded it the first cycle we tried so we were in it a little blind those first couple cycles but on our 4th cycle we had enough data AND we got pregnant!
Used it the second time around and I’m pregnant again. I found it to be helpful postpartum too because tracking your periods is essential when you’re going back to having regular periods.

Ovia worked really well for me during TTC. When I wasn’t TTC but still wanted to track things, I really liked Clue (as it’s less “rah rah good luck getting pregnant”, and more just the facts).
Both lined up well for me, but I also have a very “average” cycle.

I use Ovia. I really like it. Just started TTC, so don’t know if it works in that sense, but it does a great job of tracking my cycle and my ovulation. Per the rec of previous posters, I just downloaded Fertility Friend and will try using them together. I’m a nerd who likes tracking data, so take that with a grain of salt! 🙂

Thanks for everyone’s responses. I have a fairly average cycle so I’m hoping it will be helpful and work out for us too! Fingers crossed haha

I used it for a while, prefer Fertility Friend.

I used Ovia for TTC and now also have their pregnancy app. We got pregnant shortly after using it so I didn’t use it over several cycles to identify any strong patterns, but it was handy for keeping track of dates and OPK results, etc. Especially after coming off the pill things weren’t really consistent so it was nice to be able to lay out a picture of what was going on. As far as being accurate for fertile times…eh. I could have figured that out without the app, but like I said it was nice to be able to go back to dates and have a record of what happened during past cycles. I would not rely on its predictions without another way to track as well.

I am not yet TTC, but I use Ovia becuase I have long cycles and I kind of never knew when my period was coming. I’ve used it for about a year and after the first few months of me adding symptoms/tracking it was pretty much spot on for tracking my cycle.
I’m sure when I am TTC I will use something else too, but for basic tracking/insights its worth the download
