No idea on ovulation as I wasn’t charting, but I am currently preggo (22w) immediately following an early (6w or so) m/c -no period in between.

There are two of us on here (hopefully she will chime in, and probably knows her cycle details better than me) we had losses one day apart, and are both pregnant again and EDD’s 3 days apart!

Don’t put any pressure on yourself this cycle, sorry for the loss of course, and hope you are doing well.

I don’t recall exactly, it’s been 14 years. But I had a MC in August and conceived in October.

I waited for one full period and then started trying again.

I ovulated within 2-3 weeks of my MC. And then I had my first period 4 weeks after. I felt pretty lucky that my cycle was quick to go back to normal. I got my BFP 3 ycles after my MC.I hope your body kicks in to gear soon, good luck!

I’ve had 2, each period took 6 weeks to come back. Everyone is different though. Try to relax and take a break until you have your cycle figured out.

I ovuluated about 2-3 weeks after my miscarriage at 20 wks. I had my first period 4 weeks after our miscarriage. We had to wait 2 cycles and ended up waiting 1 more. This last cycle felt ‘normal’ and I had very clear ovulation signs. we will start trying again this next cycle and hopefully our BFP will happen very quickly.

I normally track my cycles on my Kindle app which shows me the ovulation window. Do I just pick back up when my next cycle starts? I have an appointment with my dr. this week to see how long I should wait after my early m/c. Is the dr able to say why this happened or any tips to prevent it for next time?

I’m really sorry to hear about your MC.

I was a weird case. I bled for almost 2 months after my D&C, so I wasn’t really sure when I ovulated for my first cycle after my MC. My cycles did regulate pretty quickly after that though. We waited 2 cycles to start trying again…so almost 3 months after my D&C.

@ctbridetobe:  sorry about your miscarriage. I had an early miscarriage and ovulation was delyaed by about a week. I was freaking out but then I read that you should count CD 1 when your beta drops to zero. good luck.

So sorry to hear about your loss *hugs*

I don’t have any first hand experience to offer, but I have spent a lot of time online talking to ladies who have experienced miscarriages, and many of them conceive very quickly after thier loss.

Best wishes!

So sorry you are going through this! I ovulated 2 weeks after my miscarriage and got my period 4 weeks after my MC. I waited one cycle & got pregnant immediately after.

Good luck!

@ctbridetobe:  I ovulated when I FINALLY stopped spotting. I spotted brown for 8 weeks. It was insane. I don’t think that was normal, so you would probably be ok to expect it soon!

So just the whole process took almost 3 months, and now we’re on our first real cycle trying since. I’ll have to report back later, but I am hoping it doesn’t take long!!

I ovulated about 20 days after my MC and got my period about 5 weeks later.  This is the worst club to have to be a part of, but I’ve found the women on this site to be incredibly supportive and understanding.  So sorry to hear about your loss. ((HUGHS))
