I would talk to your Dr.

I’m assuming it only happens every other month?

Oh my gosh yes…I get it every month and it HURTS!  Sometimes the pain is almost as awful as when I have actual cramps.  I do have a history of having cysts on my ovaries, but I haven’t had one in quite awhile (that I know of).  But, as far as I know, having pain during ovulation is completely normal.

I get it, although mine isn’t anything remotely unbearable. Sometimes it’s a tingly sensation, sometimes it’s crampy. It’s all annoying. :o) If yours is real painful, I would definitely ask for a doctor’s opinion. Better to be safe than sorry.

Only after I started tracking it, did I notice it happen right on schedule. It’s so slight though it became stronger the more I noticed. Yah, get a dr. opinion to make sure, especially if you are ttc.

I wouldn’t worry too much, but if it’s really painful, I’d bring it up to your doctor next time you see him/her. When I’m not on birth control, I have really painful ovulation cramps too, and they’re usually worse than the cramps I get during my period. I’ve heard it’s beneficial when you’re trying to conceive though, because you know exactly when you’re ovulating. 🙂
