Some of you may know that I’ve been TTC for a long time and DH/I started seeing a RE. She said IVF would be are only route but before we could do that I needed a laparoscopy. I had one done in January and they found really bad endo and removed a polyp and fibriod from me and so I’m all clear now and they said my fertility was highest during the next 6 months.
First cycle (after lap) was only 23 days and my period was horrible…I expected it but I bled a lot, mainly from the surgery.
Second cycle was only 24 days long. I started OPKs too late (around CD10 but I usually O around CD12-14) and never got a positive b/c I think I O’d early and of course, AF came.
Third (current) cycle…after last cycle, I decided to start OPKs around CD6. I got a (very strong) positive on CD8 and OMG, I’ve never O’d that hard and painful..on my right side where most of the endo was removed. To the point where I didn’t want to BD (although we did the day before.)
Since 3DPO, I’ve been cramping nonstop like AF is on her way. I even have that sensation down there like I normally get. But, she’s not due for a least another week.
I’m currently 8DPO and still cramping. Not O pains but more generalized in the abdomen. I hate taking OTC meds and I’ve been dealing with it since. My lower back also started hurting the day I got the cramps and hasn’t stopped.
I’ve had no other “normal” PMS symptoms except fatigue (I took 2 naps Friday and one today) which I normally do a day or so before AF.
I was worried it could be a cyst forming since I’ve had them before but with everything the doc removed, I find it hard to believe something could be growing again 60 days past my surgery. Plus, with my previous cysts I never had the lower back pain.
Anyone else have experience with ovulation type pains that last AFTER O?
