@Lolasmomma:  It depends how long your cycles are.  If you have a cycle that is 40 days and you dont ovulate until CD28 then start using the OPKs around CD22 or so, so you dont miss your surge.  If your cycle is anything like mine where I usually O’d around CD13 to CD15 then yes, start using the OPKs around CD10.  GL 🙂  or if you just like pee on sticks start whenever you want lol ….I did this too! 🙂

Don’t start POAS now 🙂 Wait until your period end 🙂

I start around CD 10. I O between CD15 and CD18 usually. I do once a day then move ot twice a day when I get closer to when I think I’ll O so I dont’ miss it

@Lolasmomma:  I’d second the suggestion that you start testing with OPKs as soon as your period ends as well.  Also, read up on the LH surge and when it happens — typically overnight or early morning — and it may not be detectable until mid day or early afternoon. I found this article really helpful: http://coloradofertility.com/patient-resources/the-lh-surge/

I’ve been stuck in a Catch-22 between drinking lots of water for good CM, and then my urine being really diluted and tests hard to read! I just saw on FertilityFriend.com that they recommend limiting fluids and doing a 3 to 4 hour hold of your urine for best results.

Best of luck!

also check your CM so the closer it is to egg white the more likely you should test.

If you’ve had 25 day cycles I’d start sooner, as soon as your period ends, CD6 or so, depending on the length of your period. I have 27 day cycles and I get my + OPK’s on CD10 or CD11 (O-day CD11 or CD12). If you have short cycles you may possibly O as early as CD8 or CD9, with + OPK’s on CD7 or CD8, so I wouldn’t wait until CD10- you may miss it!
