I’m new to the boards but have been checking out wedding bee for years. I wanted to do a roll-call of brides using or thinking of using Oxon Hill Manor as their venue! I’ve got a hold on Sept 28 2013 but looking for another bride who would want a Saturday morning event and split the cost of a tent rental?? I would be open to other Saturdays as well. Also just in general want to share ideas on planning!

I reserved OHM for May 2013 and just received a letter that OHM now has an option for a 40X80 Navi-trac tent on the rear brick patio. The tent is up from April 1, 2013 – October 31, 2013. Anyone within a contract at this time will only have to pay the normal setup fee of $240/200. New contracts will pay extra for use of the tent. I was very happy to hear this since tent logistics were a nightmare. OHM will provide the tent, sidewalls, chandeliers, perimeter lighting. Any AC or Heat is up to the renter. OHM will allow the white folding chairs on the patio but not the chiavari chairs so might need to rent the chairs if you don’t like the white plastic folding. Hope this helps your situation.

@patricia_joyful: Thanks, I did end up booking 9/7/13 before I heard about the tent.. when I got that letter I was so happy! Please let me know how your wedding goes and if you decide to use the tent or not. I would love to see a picture of the tent on the back patio! I am thinking of hiring special lighting as well..
