(Closed) p90x – Anyone Done It?

Do Primal Blueprint and Cross Fit. Better than the above programs. I do also like Brazillian Butt Lift vs P90X as it works your lower body/glutes which is lacking in P90X. Diet is 80%, workouts are 20%. Just my humble opinion that worked for me.

I’ve never done it but I’m buying it for Fiance for xmas. He doesnt like going to the gym and has talked about doing it.

 

I’ve also had a lot of friends find it successful. I have friends who have since gone to insanity and love it.

 

I can say I can out run most of my friends who did p90x, out swim, and out bike as well. I’m smaller than them not as muscular but I am way more fit than they were.

I find the best results for me come from Half Iron training combined with 2 days of pilates, and 2-3 days of weights a week. This is why I’m considering another half iron in June right now. That may get sidelined though because I just found out about the Gasparilla Challenge. Pilates makes you lean and strengthens the core, supplemental weights builds lean muscle and definition, running and cycling make awesome legs, and swimming is the only thing thats ever built my upperbody.

@MrsJenBee:  amazing results girl!! Were these during the whole 90day span? Did you miss any days? And what wa your diet like?! I want to start! I’m on insanity right now and I just got my pull up bar and resistance bands to start:) I’m eager to know details!!

@Whitwhit1689:  No, this is not just P90X. I skipped a crap ton of P90X, but I also went to the gym consistantly 3 times a week. 

Also, I put the pull up bar in the middle of the living room, near the bathroom. So everytime I walked through the living room or went to the bathroom, I’d do a pull up (or in the beginning, attempt a pull up). Now I can do a bunch of full pull ups. 

And I pretty much eat what I want, but I eat 300-400 under my TDEE.
