So one of the caterers we have in mind also has pricing where they do a package deal and it is very cheap for this area (about $60-$75 pp including taxes and administrative fees and including headwaitress, food, cake, invitations, limo, florist and photography). Additionally, my sister knows the caterer so there is the possibility of paying even less so I am very motivated to use their services. We are in the Boston area so $60-$75pp is pretty cheap.
But I’m wondering what kind of research you do with a package. Does who ever has the package put together give you references? Do you just do your own research? I don’t really care too much about the invitations or limo, my flowers are going to be pretty simple and the cake place gets good reviews but I don’t know how I should go about ensuring that they are good vendors.
