I’m ordering macarons in bulk online – they will be shipped out 4 days before the wedding, and arrive 2 days before the wedding. I’m told they should be enjoyed within 3-5 days of arrival. Any macaron experts out there have suggestions for the best way to re-package them for favors? i.e. should they be kept airtight in plastic goody bags? refrigerate after re-packaging? I will figure out how to make it pretty, but just wondering what will keep them fresh, chewy but crispy.
Thanks for your help!

They are supposed to be kept refrigerated. You could probably package them however you wanted (we are using clear plastic (not air tight) favor boxes). I figure I’ll stick all the favor boxes into medium sized brown boxes in the fridge, and wrap the brown boxes with plastic wrap to make them mostly air tight, and deliver them like that to the venue for set up.
