Thank you. I know they’ve said Princess Eugenie started the trend for pads, but I’ve loved them for many years and watched the prices climb higher and higher. Padparadscha and Paraiba tourmalines are my thing.

Again, enjoy your engagement and gorgeous ring!

I’ve never posted before. I’m an “unconventional” bride. My “fusband” (fiancé/husband) and I have been married 29.5 years. Recently things have been a little rough. So, we decided to start from scratch. We became friends, then bf/gf, and last weekend he proposed…all over again…and better than the first time (as we were running off to attempt to elope). Lol

He told me he wanted to buy me a new ring too, and get my “dream ring”. Like OP, I’ve ALWAYS wanted a pad. We spent time picking out the perfect stone, and setting. The proposal came the day the ring arrived from the Natural Sapphire Company. We are thrilled with it.

I echo the posts stating it’s impossible to get all the color in a photo, lenses obviously don’t see what eyes do. She’s peachy in some lights, pinker in some, picks up purple in cloudy settings, and sparkles more than I ever imagined a sapphire doing. The pad represents our unique and ever changing relationship. The hearts represent us, joined by that love. I don’t plan to wear any other band with it…just this. We are renewing our vows in June.

Comgrats OP…may you know a lifetime of love.
