Hey bees, I’m about 6 or 7 weeks pregnant and for the last few days I’ve had this dull pain/tickling feeling about 2 inches below my belly button. It’s almost itchy but when I scratch it, it doesn’t go away.
Has anyone else had this feeling before? What does it mean?

I’ve had slight cramping early on which is just the uterus expanding. I didn’t have any itching but I know that it can happen when the skin stretches. You should just check with your doctor to be sure.

It sounds like it’s just your uterus growing – round ligament pains they call it. For me, it felt like pre-period cramping. However, if it’s full-blown crampiness you should definitely call your doctor just in case.

It’s your uterus. I think a lot of people have the misconception that the baby grows out of our “belly” which it actually doesn’t. It grows below the “belly” portion in the uterus and then it has nowhere to go so your entire “belly” pops out. This is the type of weirdness that you only learn once you’re pregnant 🙂

I about 6 weeks and I have had cramping feelings since 4 weeks. Sometimes it’s sharp pain, sometimes its cramping…sometimes it just feels “funny”.
I hear that it is from the uterus growing. Freaked me out at first but then I read how normal it was
