OK mommies and mommies to be.. I am 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow 8/5 and in the past two weeks i have had this dull pain in the upper left side of my chest, kind of around the boob but deeper in my chest. U have googled it and it says it can indegestion, stress, rib cage wideing, or gas. It usually happens in the morning but today its been all morning. It doesnt make me sick or out of breath just a dull pain.
I wonder if any of you mommies have experienced this pain? Our nurse told me it could be gas.
Im thinking stress because my mother and i dont have a good relationship and she has been a bitty lately because i text her to tell her i am pregnant. and my DH thinks stress from her bein crazy is making me have the pains.
What do you mommies think?

All sorts of pains in pregnancy are to be expected. I had sciatic pain, back pain, bad cramping, headaches, occasional heartburn and Braxton Hicks that I sometimes had to breathe through. It sounds like the nurse is right about the possible causes. If you think it is “stress” then maybe try some meditation/relaxation techniques.

Agreed, pregnancy is full of mysterious aches and pains. It’s hard to know what to ignore and what to worry about, but you get better at it with time.
When in doubt, always check with your doctor, but 9 times out of 10, my pregnancy pains can be solved if I put on comfortable clothing (underwires and waistbands rapidly became the devil!), sit down, put up my feet, and drink some water.
