(Closed) Paint color help

Oddly, I am not a fan of accent walls within a closed room like a bedroom (as opposed to a wall in an open floor plan). 

How about choosing a shade of blue you like for the walls and go a couple shades lighter for the ceiling?

These are the wrong colors totally, but this idea

I’d probably go with a brown-ish, darker tan color.  What color are the rest of the (non-accent) walls?

I agree that tan would look nice. if you are worried about it coming off as masculine I would go for a softer,  sandy shade.  Alternatively you could do of soft bluey-grey; that would bring out the blues in the bedspread rather than the browns and would read as a bit “fresher”.
