Darling Husband and I started eating Primal about 2.5months ago. So far, he’s down 20ish lbs and I’m hovering at around 9lbs down and now we’re adding in long distance biking for exercise as well. We’re just getting back into it after a week of vacation with more cheats than we should have. It’s hard sometimes because I get tired of eating the same thing every day and I definitely miss the sweets! DH does NOT like fish or seafood of any kind, so it limits the meals we can eat even more. If you eat paleo/primal, what are some of your favorite “go-to” meals and snacks?

We are not exclusively Paleo, but Paleo and Primal recipes address the specific health issues we are trying to address through diet changes, so we have a lot of them. Pinterest has been very helpful in locating recipes. We’re eating eggs more frequently, meatballs of all varieties make for great snacks (made some sriracha infused meatballs on Friday that were demolished by Sunday thanks to Mr. LK and Teen LK), caluliflower is amazingly versatile (who knew?!), I’m in love with spaghetti squash, and we’ve made it a goal to try one new fruit/veggie/meat each week to keep things interesting.
