I love love LOVE, The Pampered Chef! I signed up as a consultant so that I could stock my kitchen with good quality cookware and I’ve never regretted it, but I’ve never worked with the registry before. I really want to have a Pampered Chef registry for my own wedding, but it only makes sense that I would be the consultant for the actual registry. That would mean that I would also get the commission off the sales.
Is that tacky?
I love the product so much and it doesn’t even compare to some stuff in the stores. I would rather get more Pampered Chef than anything I would register for at Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, or other common stores.

I voted “yes” before I read the post (oops!).. I’m not sure about this one though.. I think it’s a little strange that you’ll be getting commissions off of the sales. Do you know anyone else who sells it that could take care of the sales for you? It might be strange for people to order your gift through you. Especially for those who know how Pampered Chef or other Independent Sales companies work. I think a registry to Pampered Chef is a great idea, just not with you as the consultant.

people would have to call you to order a gift, and then you would get both the gift and some of the money. so not okay.

I think the registry is a wonderful idea. I love Pampered Cherf. However, I would find another consultant and list her. What a nice thing to do too.

Nothing wrong with the registry. But you should not be making profits from the sales, so find a different consultant.

Find another consultant to host.
Also, many people have posted on here on the subject of having a PC party/shower. I think most people feel as guests its a bit of pressure to enjoy a shower where you are expected to buy gifts.

Thanks Bees! you echoed my thoughts. It’s tacky. I’ll find another consultant who can handle my registry.
