    I love the plants in my garden.  To show my love for them, I prune them.  I guess, descriptively, I butcher their appendages off with clippers.  I also brutally rip the weeds out by their roots from around them and toss them aside to die.  I have yet to repent for this atrocity.  In fact, sometimes I stand and look over my acts of horror with pride to gloat over my accomplishments.  I occasionally take pictures of it to enjoy later.  I find the pictures stimulating.

    Comparing the ill treatment and slaughter of a cow to the ill treatment and slaughter of a potato is quite possibly the most asanine argument I have ever heard.  I’m going to go keep laughing to myself now.  Thank you for the entertainment! 😂

    @yogahammy:  This is what you wrote;

    “The thing is, while plants may not feel pain in the same way animals do, they are also living things you are killing to feed yourself.  And there are plenty of problematic agricultural practices in growing plants. “

    You can feel free to point out what part I failed to comprehend.

    Plants cannot comprehend pain, period. Comparing my head of lettuce to the suffering and torturing of animals is utterly moronic.
