I felt this way during my 600-level financial accounting class. In order to catch up, I read and re-read the textbook about a 100 times. I ended up taking about 30 pages of notes, but I ended up with an A- in the class. Good luck!

Oh, poor baby.  I know exactly how you feel, I get this way sometimes still.  Work will be exactly the same way some time in your future, so this is good preparation.  You can do this!  Break it down into smaller, easier pieces and take one thing at a time.  Have faith in yourself.

I have to give myself a pep talk every time I have a HUGE work project and I’m completely baffled and stressed as to where to begin.  But somehow, some way I always manage to get it together and accomplish the seemingly impossible.

You can do this, you’ve been doing it all along.  You will do it again.  Hang in there!

Yes, take a step back and give your brain a break.  The WOMP WOMP is a sign, lol.  I have been having a spring-fever-wedding-on-the-brain-fog lately at work, so I feel ya!  Good luck!

I would talk to the professor now before the next test, like WAY before. Tell him you’re kinda lost, if you did well on the last test he/she should be more than willing to help you. If they cannot or won’t help you they might be able to point you in the direction of someone that can.   Does you school have an academic center? My college has a place you can go to get tutoring in certain subjects for free (I bet Calc is one of them.) I would be honest with the prof, unless they are complete A**hole, in my expeireice they usually help.
