Eep! One reason I never remove my rings!

It MUST be there somewhere…If you were in a rush, perhaps it slipped into a corner? Could it be beside/behind the box?

Maybe Darling Husband took it to have it upgraded as a surprise??

Well the upside to this is that you know that it has to be at home. You’ll find it, it can’t be anywhere other than at your house!

@KHR20507:  Well it is completely up to you whether you take them off or not.  But for the fact that all your other jewerelly is there and nothing else is, the first thing that came to my mind was Darling Husband might of took it for some reason and wanted to surprise you or forgot to tell you.

However,  you could of taken it off somewhere else and not even realized it.  For example there was one time I put a package of bacon in the cupboard not even realizing it.   Just because you are in a routine doesn’t mean that you won’t accidently do something without even realizing it.

I know how badly it sucks to be used to wearing the ring and then having to go a whole day without it.  Makes you feel very naked and can really affect your mood.  But try not to worry about it to much, at least not until you have had a good chance to look for it.

In just about every room in the house (well, just the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom), there’s a specific place where I ALWAYS put my ring.. So if for some reason, I lose my mind and forgot where I left it, I know it HAS to be in one of those designated spots..
I’m sure you’ll find it.. but when you do, be adamant about where you place your ring. In the kitchen, I have a single ring box. I put my ring in there when I do dishes or cook.. In the bathroom, I have a little dish that I put my ring in when I brush my teeth (im left handed), wash my hands, or take a shower. and in the bedroom, If I MUST take it off for whatever reason (I usually sleep with it on), I’ll place it on my night stand.. So if Im in a rush and forgot the last place I left  my ring, I know its either in the box in the kitchen, the dish in the bathroom, or the nightstand in the bedroom.

Good luck! Hope you find your baby!!

Relax! It HAS to be there. Maybe it fell on the floor when you took it off after work? Sometimes when I am looking for something, it’ll be RIGHT infront of my eyes and I don’t see it. Seriously, it’s crazy. But it happens when my mind is on something else. You will find it!!!!

Don’t worry; when you get home have a good thorough look and it has to be there somewhere. I’d be very surprised if it fell into the trash, as you’d most likely have seen it or heard a clink when it landed. It’s probably hiding in your jewelry box or maybe you put it somewhere absentmindedly.

I lost my ring once too: it was waaay too big when Fiance bought it for me but I insisted on wearing it, and then it had slipped off into the corridor at work! Luckily I noticed after getting in the elevator and went all the way back up and saw it sparkle on the floor! Whew! And if I can find it from such a silly incident I’m sure you will! 🙂

Eeek! I’ve done this before. Now, if I don’t know where I put it, I’ll check all my pockets from today and yesterday, then my purse (including the outside and inside pockets) and then by the computer. It’s usually in those spots.

What I do that helps me is I sit down somewhere by myself, or lie on the bed.  I deep breathe, relax and retrace all my steps from the point where I last had the object. Just let your mind be blank for a bit.

Good luck and I hope that you find your ring!
