I voted for ‘crusted’, it sounds more… refined/gourmet, for some reason lol.  Either way the guests will get the idea.

Some menus also use “panko encrusted” but it’s whichever sounds best to you!

I’ve usually seen it on menus as panko-crusted. MMMMM, panko is delicious!

FYI, as an aside, it makes a yummy topping for homemade mac & cheese!

I voted for crusted! I’m pretty sure that’s how I’ve normally seen it at restaurants…. it sounds delicious either way though! Lucky guests. 🙂

I voted breaded – because the word crusted sounds gross/unappetizing to me (could be because I am a nurse, and whenever I see crusted/crusting on a chart it is something nasty looking … )

I liked breaded. It sounds more like a food term then crusted.

Breaded sounds more appetizing but either works fine.

to me, crusted sounds like “crusty” which is great for bread, but not for meat…panko-breaded sounds delicious!

and technically, it should be Panko encrusted. Not Panko-crusted.

Not that it matters, really. But I do edit cookbooks. Encrusted is normally the preffered verb for what you are trying to say.
