Making all of my flowers for our wedding in October, and although it’s quite a big undertaking, I finally feel as though it will be worth it! Our colors are yellow, green, teal/dark aqua blue (ish?), and grey. I finally had several of each color to try a test run of a quick bouquet. Still unsure of combos for each arrangement, will be adding greenery, and replacing that lace (cheap bouquet holders from Hobby Lobby) with ribbon I think.
Can’t share with too many people, since mom still thinks paper flowers are dumb and I don’t want to post it all over my Facebook.

AprilinTX: They look gorgeous!
Funny, I’m getting married in October and thinking about paper flowers myself. I’m definitely doing all the ceremony flowers- bouquets/boutineers- but I’ve considered doing the centerpieces too. But I have somewhere between 20-25 tables! Now I’m thinking of doing one big flower but I’m still playing with the idea.

Your flowers are coming out so nice — they have great shape!! FWIW, I think I’d like it better with out the white flowers. They stand out so much to my eye. The other colors are all a similar intensity and mesh well together. Just my 2¢!

AprilinTX: Those are beautiful! You did an amazing job and adding the greenery would look amazing! I’ve even found paper greenery tutorials on Pinterest if you are interested in that.
I’m an October bride as well and will be making a TON of paper flowers. Hope mine turn out as pretty.

Thanks you all!
MexiPino: I will have about 20 guest tables and plan to make centerpieces. Also I will need about 10-14 pew decorations. I think the biggest task has been tracing and cutting these out since I can’t just use a punch for the big ones. You can do it!!! My Fiance helps me cut them out but I assemble all of them because I’m a control freak.
SydneyRose: I agree, thanks for pointing it out. The white flowers look good in the centerpieces and I think I’ll do mostly those with a few of the colored ones for a looser centerpiece just so that they aren’t the same as the bouquets.
blt982: Thank you. I have a love for paper flowers and origami cranes, and my Fiance made me a crane mobile and paper rose for different gifts. It seems unique but fitting for us that people embrace DIY and paper flowers!
warriorprincess: I’m going to be completely lazy with greenery, I got a lot of stems from Hobby Lobby on 50% off. Thank you! I’m always really excited to see other brides doing paper as well. No two bouquets are alike and it’s super cost-effective!
Would love to see you other bees’ flowers when you get them up!

SydneyRose: Also, with the white….I think my bouquet will be mostly these big roses with white and yellow, but not the coffee filter small ones. But the bridesmaids will probably carry the other colors, not much white.

AprilinTX: Good plan — That will be pretty!! It’ll have more impact with the colors more unified.
