They are done ahead of time and will get ruined before the wedding

They will get wet and wreck EVERYTHING

They won't get ruined, they won't get wet, mom is crazy

They might get ruined, she has a point, think of something else

I have had my heart set on making paper fliwers for ages. I made a joke about ‘as long as it doesn’t rain right?’ Future Mother-In-Law flipped about running dye on my dress. And suddenly Fiance (who was previously 100% behind my paper flower idea) looked terrified and was like ‘Just buy damn flowers’.

I highly doubt that I will be without an umbrella if it does rain. Oy. Worriers.

I can see her point.. they could very well run, and they could get ruined before the wedding.

I guess it’s just a chance you’ll have to take if you choose to use them.
