- Wedding: November 2013
Hi Bees! I am a long time reader, first time poster! For my wedding in November we desperately want to use Paper Lanterns to liven up our space (its our local Firehouse banquet hall and it is VERY plain) but the problem is that the ceilings are very high and will likely need about a 20 foot ladder. The firemen are exceedingly generous and are allowing us to decorate the hall the night before the wedding. My concern is how do we light the paper lanterns (Im assuming we should use some kind of battery powered LED light) the night before and ensure that they stay lit and the bulbs dont burn out? Most lights I have seen say 12+ hours of light, but Im thinking we need something closer to 48 hours to make sure they stay lit from set up through the reception? any ideas?
