I am hoping that you guys can help me! I ordered fuschia colored paper lanterns for my wedding. When I got them in the mail they are a little more pink than I wanted…I am trying to sell them but so far that hasn’t worked too well!
Anyways, I was trying to think of something that I could do to them to make them more the fushcia color that I want. I thought about spray painting them but I am afraid that would make the lights not shine through properly. I was thinking of maybe finding a spray that just has some sparkle to it but I wasn’t sure if anyone had any other suggestions. I don’t want to have to buy the right color fuschia ones that I want if I can’t sell these…I will just suck it up and use them even if they don’t match the rest of the decor properly.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Think about sponge paint like a sparklie silver or gold color on it. If you do different ones in differnt patterns it might take away from the color itself…. Good Luck

Are you lighting them? If so, use purple lights 🙂

You could try to cover them up with this diy I found on youtube, the vid itself is in german and though I didn’t understand a word (*note to self:learn some german* 🙂 ) it’s pretty easy to follow. I’m actually really considering doing this. Well hope it helps:

I am in need of fushia paper lanterns if you want to sell. I live in Ohio so shipping wouldn’t be too much.

I also found a really inexpensive website to buy new ones if you’re interested. http://www.paperlanternstore.com

Did you sell your lanterns? Could you post a picture of what they look like? Let me know…[email protected]
