I am so so excited to do this at my wedding!!! I orded my paperlanters from two sites

I bought most of them from

http://www.justartifacts.net/

best price I found and they came super super quick like within 2days paid with paypal I was super happy and it was easy! Also quick tip they have coupon codes to give you 5% off order its not much but every penny helps right!

I also bought a few from oriental trading company they are a bit more expensive so I only chose these because I loved them! And they look really elegant I am going to hang these behind our head table. They also shipped very quickly within the week and they look great! Love that they sent two sizes

I was going to suggest justartifacts.net too- i came across them looking for the flying paper lanterns. Bought them and had a great experience and then I was watching 4 weddings a few weeks later and David Tutera mentioned using them for his paper lanterns 🙂

@Birdee106:  Oh dont worry you dont actually have to buy thousands of them! (despite what their minimum order may say) I have found most buyers are willing to sell smaller quantities of lanterns and I have found the price to be so much cheaper than retail. 🙂

@Birdee106:  I should have said that in the first post! I bought so much stuff on there on the cheap like favours/paper which was so much cheaper than retail/etsy route… I am still trying to get approval from my venue regarding if I can hang lanterns in the garden. Fingers crossed!

I got all mine from Jadetime.com. They were super helpful, friendly, and really concerned that I was happy with my purchase. From a customer service standpoint alone I’d order from them again. They were also cheap, fast, and carried a ton of different colors and sizes to choose from. I mixed the sizes of mine from 20″ to 8″, and got 78 lanterns total, about 3/4 of those were 12″ and bigger. My total came to $145 or so, INCLUDING a $40-something charge for shipping to Canada. So including the shipping charge my lanterns came in around $1.85 each. VERY good pricing. I’m assuming your shipping would be less too since you’re in the States.
