I’m looking for some fun printed paper so I can line envelopes for my engagement stationary.
Beside Kate’s Paperie and Papyrus – any other places I should go?
Thanks!

Paper presentation on 18th street. I do think its a bit pricey though. I think its good to go view stuff but you might want to order from paper and more.
Paper presentation on 18th between 5th and 6th and Print Icon (about 4 doors down) has had everything we need. Sometimes it’s a little pricier than an online source, but once you add in shipping and handling from some of the online options, we’ve basically broken even. Also, look into Pearl River (now on Broadway) and Pearl Paint – they may have some options.
Try gift wrapping paper as well! Also, you can make your own printed paper from your computer and/or stamps.
There is a store that was recommended to me called New York Paper Company or something really close to that…they apparently have tons of handmade paper, etc. for envelopes.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
Pinkparfait – the fact that I am even putting liners in myself is a HUGE step for this DIY adverse girl. I just don’t think I’m ready to print my own! Ha!
Kate – I googled New York Paper Company but it didn’t come up. Anyone know the full name?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Gah, I remember a little paper store on the UWS by Columbia, but can’t remember the name of it for the life of me.
You might also want to try Paper Mojo- they’re online and have a fantastic selection of papers! I over-bought (didn’t realize just how large the sheets were) but it was still much lower prices than I found elsewhere!
holy paper Sweet Tea! Paper mojo is insane. Thanks!
no problem! FYI- the sheets are pretty BIG. for our envelopes (size A6), we got between 5-8 envelope liners per sheet of paper!
I went to Paper Presentation and Print Icon last night. While I didn’t find anything I liked, they both had a great selection for anyone who is looking.
I also stopped at A.I Friedman (also on 18th st) and they had a nice selection as well.
I think I’ll end up ordering from Paper Mojo but if anyone has any other favorite stores let me know!
