So we are having a wedding with hints of the 1930s. I have this moon that my dad used to use years ago as a photography prop and they were apparently very popular in the 30s at carnivals. What do you think of setting this up at the reception with polaroid cameras for people to take pictures of each other as a favor? Is this cheesy?

I love it! Its like a photobooth, but themed to the 1930’s! There is one of these in the Melbourne museum, that used to be in Luna Park, which is a big old carnival type place in St. Kilda. I took the girls I nannied to the mueseum and they loved getting their photo taken in it. I say do it!
Also, maybe you could use one of the tutorials floating around on how to make your own photo booth, and set it up so the camera can be operated by a remote?

I think it’s a great idea. But, it is more of a photo set up than a favor. So, maybe a vintage favor to go with it.
