Mom’s are getting nice pairs of earrings (found good prices on overstock.com), and my Dad is getting a giftcard to buy books for his kindle, most likely.

We are giving both mothers a 3 stone light blue sapphire (the stone in my ring) necklace to represent FI’s family, my family and the new family that will be started on our wedding day. Both dads love to garden so we are giving them a white flowering dogwood tree that will bloom every July (the month we are getting married) to remind them how much we love them and appreciate them. We are doing photobooks for Christmas.

Hope this helps!

I am handmaking a hankerchief that will have “Mother” embroidered on it for my Future Mother-In-Law. It’ll get used that day too, I know she’s totally going to cry. I chose to use “Mother” for the personalization because she has been more of a Mother to me in the past 2.5 years than my own was in 26 years.

His father will be recieving a Thank You (for attending) card like the other guests. He’s not helping with the wedding in any way, so Fiance feels a gift is un-necessary. The choice to not give his Father a gift is his, and I will respect that. (They have a strained relationship.)

My parents will not be in attendace, so Future Mother-In-Law is the only one (besides wedding party) getting a gift.
