I bought my parents a printed canvas from the Etsy seller GeeZees. It is their engagement pictures with their wedding song printed to the right of the picture. It came out BEAUTIFUL!

I’m getting my parents a canvas painting by an artist they like and having it framed. It’s a surprise though! I have no idea what to get for in-laws though.

We’re giving gift cards to spas/hotels to our parents. They deserve a little pampering after this is said and done 🙂

Haven’t given it too much thought, but I really want to get my dad a hinged frame with a baby picture of me and him on the left saying “I will always be daddy’s little girl…” and then a picture of us at my wedding on the right frame with my wedding date.

We’re giving our parents digital photo frames w/ engagement photos loaded, then once our wedding is over, we’ll add our wedding photos.  They are also getting mini-wedding albums of ours too!

We had a Destination Wedding so each set of parents got a nice, hard-back, coffee table style book about the city where we wed and a personal “thank you” inscription in the front cover.  We also gave them each a silver 5 x 7 picture frame with one of our engagement pictures inside.  As soon as we get our wedding pictures back, we’ll give them one of those for the frame.  The gifts went over well and both sets of parents loved them!

Ohh, please keep the ideas coming! We’re thinking about getting his parents a digital photo frame, but my parents already have one, so we’re looking for more ideas!

We’re getting each set of parents a nicely framed picture of us (from our engagement session), along with a nice card thanking them for all of their support, and an IOU for a wedding album after we get our wedding pictures back.  (We’ll probably design the albums using iphoto or one of the online album printing companies that is available out there.)

I think I am going to make a childhood to adult hood type of blurb book, my mom is super emotional and I think will really like that kind of thing.

@roddy that is a really cool idea 🙂 turned out LOVELY!

I got my mom a figurine of a mother with her daughter on the daughters wedding day (I gave her one with a mother and little girl when I was little so it comes full circle and she’ll love it. It is a lenox so it is really high quality/pretty!)

I got my dad a clock thing for his desk that has a picture of us “then” and “now”…I didn’t know what else and he LOVES anything for his office (he is there a LOT!)

I got my future in-laws stuff for their bar (they have a really cool one in their home)…nice monogram classes, an electic wine cork remover, and these “whiskey stones” that keep the drinks cool and look neat (they are like rocks…)

All completely random and my parents gifts are admittedly cheesey but I know they will all really appreciate their gifts.
