I think you should ask your SO if he would like to have his parents introduced. Maybe you can have a moment of silence for them.

We didn’t have any of the parents introduced. We only introduced the wedding party.

awal :  I’ve never attended a wedding where the parents were introduced by a DJ. Are you talking about when the bridal party arrives to the reception, how some people do the whole dance into the room as the DJ announces their names? Please don’t do this with the parents. This is only the Bridesmaid or Best Man, Groomsmen, Bride, and Groom, IF anyone.

Why have the DJ announce the parents?

For speeches, those giving a speech introduce themselves only not themselves and spouse.

I would just not introduce the parents.

Skip the parent introductions. Nobody will miss it.

Darling Husband and I were the only introduction.  Personally I’ve never given a darn watching strangers sashay into a reception when I’m there for the bride and/or groom, so I didn’t want to inflict that on our guests either.

I would skip it and not introduce the parents.
