Hi Bees! I need your help!
My parents are younger and fun, so we decided to get skydiving certificates for them for this summer as a thank you for helping with the wedding.
His parents though are older and a bit less exciting…I suggested a bed and breakfast gift certificate to him which he quickly shot down. They’re not really “that kind” of people… so I need help!
What should we get his parents?! I definitely will send them an album of pictures after the wedding but I want to give them something in person too.

Wow, you’re a great daughter! Our mothers are getting earrings and my dad is getting a $20 gift certificate!
Maybe you can get them gift certificates to a nice restaurant?

Any other bees? Did you get gifts to give to your parents at the wedding or wait until after?

I would wait until after to give gifts. I still haven’t decided what to give them!

maybe a gift card to a nice restaurant like ruth chris or something?
i went the B&B route for my parents (they are 59 and 60) but they are def “that kind” of people haha. for his parents – we got them a wooden sign for their barn as well as a balling ceiling fan for their living room (weird i know – but their living room is huge and the ceiling is tall and they had this dinky white little fan up there) DH’s idea…
you could always do a gift card for shutterfly – or tell them that their gift will be ready as soon as you get pro pics back from the wedding and make them their own photobook?

@ellabee: We gave my in-laws a personalized wedding frame (a picture came later with Christmas cards) and a chocolate calculator since my father-in-law is a big chocolate fan. We didn’t gift anything to my parents since they refused when I brought the subject up.
