i got my mom a gift card to a day at the spa. I think it cost around $120. We got my inlaws a gift card to an expensive fancy restaurant in town.

Money’s tight here, too. I got each mom a flowery handkerchief in the wedding colors (I’ll be carrying a matching one down the aisle) and for his father, a monogrammed handkerchief (FH is getting a surprise monogrammed hanky, too). We’re each going to write them a card, and also, when our pictures are all done, I’m going to create photobooks on snapfish or shutterfly and give them those as well. But at the rehearsal dinner, just the hankies and cards.

we got the mothers a nice large jewlery box that is engraved and personalized hankies. As for the fathers, we got them nice money clips engraved with thiers initials.  We also bought the dads their shifts and ties for the wedding and beer mugs with thier last names engravred on them.  we also got them bul ray copies of our wedding video and a wedding album from our photographer.  it is never enough and could never express how much you love them and ppreciate all they have done.  as long as they know how much you love them, you dont need to spend hundreds of dollars

I made our parents a photobook with our engagement pics. I waited for a photobook deal to come up on groupon or deal websites like that and bought 2 vouchers to make 2 books. You usually get a good amount of photos in and the shipping is either included or really low

I was knocking around the idea of hankies too.  I like the photobook album.  I already bought frames from Kohls and plan to frame our wedding invitation.  After the wedding we’re going to get a frame that’s similar and give each of our parents a wedding picture of us.  Future hubby’s parents have their wedding invite hanging in the dining room so I thought they may like that.  We’re going to have ours hanging up too.

I’ve found on etsy hankies that you can personalize with embroidery.  They’re around $25 and I thought some of the examples of wording was super sweet.

We are also do a canvas print of the picture (we’ll take at the wedding with each set of p’s) and give to them afterward.

I bought my mom earrings to go with her dress, his mom a necklace, his dad an engraved cigar case, his grandpa some cufflinks, and grandma and embroidered handkerchief.
