I have no ideas here, ladies. We were kicking around the idea of getting our parents their own wedding albums as parents gifts. If we do that, what do we give them the day of the rehearsal dinner? I can’t think of a nice token of our appreciation that won’t break the bank on addition to the albums. Or should I go with something other than albums? Help, bees!

We are giving them parent albums (my photog calls them brag books). We are also giving his parents the hotel upgrade (they will probably host people in their room, we just want a place to “sleep”) and my mom will get a choice 1) her hotel room paid, 2) hair and make up paid or 3) MOB dress. My dad will just get a photo album (He is a dead beat dad, but still deserves something).

OOOh I have the same question!

I mean, do people think it is enough to give them a nice, handwritten card thanking them for all of their love and support and telling them that their gift is a photo album?

We gave ours pretty silver picture frames with a note inside thanking them for everything they had done and promising them a picture to fill it and an album later. They loved them. We couldn’t come up with anything else that didn’t completely break the bank, or wasn’t super uneven.

@sweetkischa: Genius! I love that idea! Thank you! And you’re right, that way it will be even!
